Hi guys! Just a quick sharing. I have read about the "Ten Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009" contest, and I have decided to join in the fray! Here are my picks:
1. The GMA News Cory Aquino Blog. GMA's newest blog to Philippine democracy icon and former President Corazon Aquino, this site is a moving tribute and call to prayer for a woman that has inspired millions. Personally, I was moved by this site's great feature articles on Cory, a leader whose rise to power ushered in the restoration of our democracy.
2. UP ALYANSA. This is a blog by the UP Alyansa ng mga Mag-aaral para sa Panlipunang Katuwiran at Kaunlaran (UP ALYANSA), a student formation from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Its tireless members regularly update fellow students and members of the UP community about pressing issues. With its presence, it truly influences its fellow students to take part in social action.
3. Sundry Fashion Fusion. This is one of the most fashionable new blogs ever. Check out her great sense of style!
4. Who is Elyoo? Featuring great, eclectic pieces, this blog earns so many brownie points for its creative concepts.
5. Manila Chika. A collection of stories and what-have-you, this down-to-earth blog captures the aches, joys and experiences of different ordinary people.
6. Doctor Dude. A blog about healing, and written by an actual doctor, this site features medicine in a way we mortals could understand.
7. Good Times Manila. If you are looking for a good laugh after a hard day, this blog is for you. With hilarious quips in its every entry, a read from Good Times Manila is sure to leave a smile on your face.
8. Overwhelmingwin. A "blog of epicly random proportions" by Nicolo Balao, Overwhelmingwin has great layout and juicy, fabulous images.
9. So Then It Was. A new photoblog from Martin, So Then It Was features stunning photos as well as great concepts.
10. The Pedestrian Foodista. Don't we just love our own? The best thing about our blog is we have been receiving a wider readership from fellow bloggers and foodistas around the world. And we are just a couple of months old!

1. Dr. Zorlone - http://zorlone.blogspot.com is a poet and a doctor who specializes in internal medicine . This is a very rare combination. he composes amazing poems. You should visit his blog.
2. Writing to Exhale http://writingtoexhale.com is authored by Jan Geronimo. I can assure you, he's an awesome writer -the best writer I have come across the blogosphere. Earning comments as much as 102 per post.
3. The Struggling blogger by Roy, Roy is the most versatile writer I have come across. He could write about any topic under the sun. he has 13 active blogs and aside from that is a father blogger.
I hope you'll get to visit them and read for yourself. I assure you, you won't regret it. They'll welcome you warmly to their blogs.
